The Best Trip At The Botanical Garden

When it came to Thursday Room 9 went to the botanical Gardens. We learned about different plants and gardens. When we got there we saw a little sparkly fountain. It was magical. The reason why I like the Botanical gardens is because I liked learning about how plants grow and how we get our food from them. After walking around we sat in the rose garden and picked a flower to draw.

Six Word Summer

I created a six word summer holiday poem about what I do in the summer holiday. 

I Like To Garden Everyday

I learned that nurturing the garden means we need to water it everyday. Our garden is slowly growing in the bright warm sun. I take care of our garden by watering it on Wednesday. Something else that I learnt is that you have to add soil to make grow much more bigger. My favorite flower out of the garden is the Cyclamen the bright nice pink one next to the dark red one. I love gardening maybe you an try it.

My Favorite Zoo Trip

When I went to the zoo trip I felt really excited to see all the animals. I went with room 10, 9, 7 and room 6. when we go there we split up in to groups and i was with Mrs Short-land.My favorite animal is a tiger because it looks cuddly and soft.The most interesting bit to me was the orangutan when they measure how long the orangutans arms were. My favorite part of the trip was when we went to go see the seals. I had the best zoo trip ever with Ruapotaka School I wish I can go again.
